Waterfront Program

The Camp Winston Waterfront Program involves each cabin of campers that 7-17 years of age, attending approximately two boating and canoeing activity rotations during their time at Camp Winston, as well as engaging in waterfront activities twice a day (afternoon swim and evening swim). Campers learn the basics of boat safety and how to steer a canoe, paddle boat, and/or kayak, and participate in other activities such as waterskiing, kneeboarding, tubing, swimming, distance swimming (floating dock), etc. Water sports facilitate the building of motor skills, trust and self-confidence and is one of the most popular activities at Camp Winston.
