Gross Motor Activities

Camp Winston’s gross motor room supports our neurodiverse campers and encourages them to improve their gross motor skills through fun activities. Gross motor movements are movements of the large muscles of the arms, legs, and torso. These are movements that many of us take for granted but are very difficult to master for many of our campers. Some of the gross motor activities include ball pit games, obstacle courses, balancing games, and jumping games.
