Pine Bay Foundation was established as a Canadian charity in 1991 to facilitate the establishment of Camp Winston, a residential camp on Sparrow Lake dedicated to the enjoyment, safety and success of children dealing with complex neurological disorders.

Foundation Directors provide support to administrative and programming staff to ensure the camp operation is efficient, effective and focused on the children Camp Winston serves; those with limited access and limited means to obtain other programs or supports. Our campers are socially isolated in their home communities and do not regularly taste the satisfaction of success in their social interactions.

The Foundation actively supports our annual charitable golf tournament, annual campaigns and third party events which help to raise public awareness and support for the camp. Committed to its continued operation in perpetuity, Foundation Board Directors participate on standing committees to improve financial management, event planning, marketing and communications, property management and governance.

The Board welcomes expressions of interest from community members who are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the exceptional children who benefit from Camp Winston.
